Need some inspiration, chocophiles? Then look no further than Oliver Kita's Hudson Valley Naturals Clermont Cappuccino bar. It doesn't look like much from the outside. A simple, paper box with an unusual color scheme (at least for chocolate) of sage green, showcasing an illustration of its birth place in Rhinebeck, NY. On the inside, however, you'll find an artfully stamped bar of handmade, local (if you live by me), and organic 70% cacao chocolate flavored with espresso. Flip the bar over and you'll see that it's sprinkled with bits of espresso and cacao beans. Rich, unique and just sweet enough, it seriously tastes like someone took an already quality bar of chocolate and poured some really good diner coffee into it. Fantastic!
I never thought I'd be writing this, but the best part isn't even the actual chocolate. The best part is the back of the box, which reminds us of this all-important truism: "Fine chocolate, like fine perfume, is an experience of daily pleasure to be appreciated every day." I couldn't agree more. A chocolate to satisfy both the body and the mind is a true inspiration. Happy Friday, my fellow cocoa-centric enthusiasts! Thanks for reading. Strawberry kisses :* :* :*
